The Headlight Project is only able to provide the services it does thanks to our amazing fundraisers and supporters and we are so grateful for all that you do.
There are lots of ways you can fundraise for us and we have included some ideas below –
Make a donation, either one-off or monthly. DONATE NOW.
Donate a raffle or auction prize for one of our fundraising events. Typical prizes would be alcohol, hampers, vouchers for services & goods.
Take part in an organised sponsored event, for example, The Great North Run, Middlesbrough 10k, Tough Mudder, Colour Run etc. We can help you with fundraising pages and sponsor forms. Merchandise can also be ordered on request.
Organise your own fundraising event. For example; a ball, a music band evening, a bingo night, a coffee morning, a shopping stall event, a pub quiz, colour themed day.
Run your own Raffle/Bonus Ball/Football Card for The Headlight Project.
Ask your employer/company to match fund what you have raised.
Request a collection box for your business or place of work.
Attend one of our fundraising events, or someone else’s planned event. Details of most events can be found on our social media.
Post a birthday fundraiser on Facebook or Instagram.
Select ‘The Russ Devereux Headlight Project’ as your chosen charity through PayPal, AmazonSmile or easyfundraising.
If you are planning to fundraise for ‘The Headlight Project’ please let us know, so we can provide any support you may need. We also like to share what our fundraisers are doing, with their permission, on our social media. And more importantly, we want to be able to thank you!

How to set up a JustGiving page
All you need to do is – Go to – https://www.justgiving.com/russdevereux-headlightproject and Click ‘Fundraise for us’ on the right-hand side of the webpage and follow the steps to set up your own fundraising page.
You can share your page via message, email and on social media platforms and receive online donations. Gift aid is also claimed through Just Giving which means an extra 25% is added to any donations made. So please ask people to tick the gift aid box if they are a UK taxpayer.
Introducing our …Headlight Helpers
We would also like to introduce you to our two official volunteers, Lindsay Durham and Graeme McIvor. Both have received help from the Project, and since then, have given their time to help raise awareness and funds for the Charity. They are both an amazing help and asset to the fundraising team.
