A Wonderful Day at the Russ Devereux Memorial Golf Day

Supporters, sponsors and golfers came together once again for our annual Russ Devereux Memorial Golf Day, enjoying a fantastic day on the course while celebrating the life and legacy of Russ.

Held at the beautiful Middlesbrough Golf Club, the event brought together 30 teams from across the region for a day of friendly competition, fundraising and remembrance. The great company and excellent golf made for another memorable occasion.

We are incredibly grateful to our hosts at Middlesbrough Golf Club for their warm welcome and outstanding hospitality, helping to create a special atmosphere throughout the day.

A special thank you also goes to Cleveland Cable, whose generous support as prize sponsor helped make the event such a success.

The event’s charity auction proved to be a highlight of the day, with guests bidding generously on a range of fantastic prizes. These included a limited-edition print by renowned local artist Philip Meadows, kindly donated by The Art House on Linthorpe Road, and a signed Liam Gallagher LP, both of which attracted significant interest and helped boost fundraising efforts.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, the event raised over £20,000 to support our work and the people who rely on our services.

Most importantly, the day provided an opportunity for friends, family, colleagues and supporters to come together in memory of Russ.
