Our Best Ever Boxing Day Dip

26th December 2023 saw our biggest turn out yet for the Boxing Day Dip with 120 individuals braving the North Sea to raise money for Headlight Project.

A windy but bright day saw individuals, families and friends join together to support those bereaved by suicide and to reduce the growing numbers of those taking their own life.

The event, which took place in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, managed to raise in excess of £13,500 towards this. This funding helps pay for counselling sessions for those bereaved by suicide and supports our work in the community sharing the message about ways to reduce suicide in our Tees Valley region.

The amount raised will help us provide up to 280 counselling sessions so thank you to all who took part.
